Salary: $7,500 Retention Bonus for RNs and $5,000 Retention Bonus for LPNs
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caregiving team. As an LPN/RN, you will play a vital role in enhancing the living experience of our seniors and clients by providing various medical treatment and personal care services under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities:
- Follow through on physician's orders in accordance with Tabitha's policies and procedures.
- Prepare, administer, and/or supervise administration of medication, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
- Assess seniors/clients assigned to you in regard to physical, mental, and psychosocial status, reporting condition changes in a timely manner to your immediate supervisor and providing follow-up with family and physician as directed.
- Diligently observe senior/client skin per Tabitha policies, proactively taking steps to avoid pressure ulcers.
- Complete procedures and document the appropriate information on the senior's/client's medical record in a timely manner according to Tabitha's policies and procedures.
- Provide direction and monitor Med Aides who are delivering medications to seniors/clients.
- Supervise and educate seniors/clients for the self-administration of medications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Communication: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language, including medical terminology related to the job.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to safely perform duties while utilizing standard and specialized equipment, with physical stamina to perform duties while moving about the work area for the entire shift.
- Education: Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study.
- Experience: 6 months experience as an RN or LPN preferred.

Credentials: RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required, CPR certification required.
Estimated Salary: Based on the job requirements and industry standards, the estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience.
