We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the nursing team during shifts, ensuring the best possible patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct nursing staff during shifts, prioritizing patient care and safety.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Address employee concerns and document actions in a timely manner.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities, providing 24/7 support to the team.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Provide quality-nursing care to patients, following doctor orders and demonstrating a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, adhering to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
