Mechanical Refrigeration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Del Monte Fresh Produce Company NA Inc.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing major mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Hydrovac tubes and ammonia systems, as well as water and air systems for the entire facility.

• Safely perform major mechanical maintenance on Refrigeration system and equipment.
• Operate the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Conduct departmental safety audits, including inspections of guards, eye wash equipment, and work areas.
• Verify Daily Refrigeration Logs are completed.
• Perform general cleaning of the systems and work area.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A RETA – CARO Level certification.
• Knowledge of electricity, welding, and plumbing.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• A valid driver's license.
