About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our team of experts in electro-acoustic sensor systems development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced sensors and sensor systems, from architecture through delivery.

Your expertise will span electronics design, transducer modeling and control, signal processing, embedded firmware development, laboratory and field experimentation, and novel sensor conception. Additionally, you will contribute to presentations, proposals, and whitepapers to sustain and win customer business.

You will have the opportunity to work on various technologies, including state-of-the-art accelerometers, hydrophones, microphones, and other novel sensors in various form factors, including MEMS instrumentation electronics, digital systems utilizing FPGAs, microcontrollers, and ASICs to implement algorithms for acoustic and vibration signal processing.

Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience with relevant hardware and software tools, such as LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, COMSOL, C, C++, Python, Audio Precision, National Instruments, or Liquid Instruments.

This role requires a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field, preferably with a concentration in acoustics. Applicants must also be eligible for and obtain a government security clearance.
