Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join our team at Emerald Resource Group. As a Tax Senior, you will participate in tax engagements and establish close working relationships with client management.

This role offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between office and remote work. You will have the opportunity to develop supervisory skills and experience through hands-on project involvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fieldwork during tax engagements
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with client management
  • Develop supervisory knowledge and experience through hands-on project involvement
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all tax-related matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting
  • 3-6 years of public accounting experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • CPA designation preferred but not required
