About the Role:

San Mateo County Transit District is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in San Carlos, CA. As an integral part of the Design & Construction Division, this role will provide critical support to our team of specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief, Design & Construction and work collaboratively with all departments within the design and construction division.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule staff meetings, book and prepare rooms for meetings.
  • Collect, review, and analyze data; prepare reports, charts, budgets, and other financial reports.
  • Create presentations and materials for board meetings and community events.
  • Responsible for maintaining the office environment which includes, maintaining supplies, equipment and coordinating with IT and facilities for support as needed.
  • Arrange travel and seminar attendance.

Requirements:

  • Sufficient experience, training and/or education to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Three years of full-time Admin Assistant experience.
