Job Summary

About the Job

This position will involve working as a Registered Nurse in a Labor and Delivery setting, providing expert care to patients during childbirth and postpartum periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid RN license in Virginia
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Labor and Delivery
  • Active BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN certifications
