Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. This includes medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, mental health support, paid sick/holiday/vacation time, employee discount program, and tuition reimbursement options.

About the Job

As a Lead Guitar Instrument Repair Specialist, you will provide exceptional maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory. Your primary objective is to continually build and increase business through great customer experiences and quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience
  • Service customer-owned instruments with high craftsmanship
  • Maintain store-owned gear as requested
  • Complete warranty repair work
Requirements and Preferences

To be successful in this role, you should have a skilled understanding of repairing guitars and possess foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products. Additional characteristics include:

  • Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles and provides an excellent customer experience
  • Initiative: Able to identify opportunities and issues and follow through on work activities
  • Selling: Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques
  • Training: Able to effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so that they are retained
