Compensation PackageWe offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. This includes medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, mental health support, paid sick/holiday/vacation time, employee discount program, and tuition reimbursement options.
About the JobAs a Lead Guitar Instrument Repair Specialist, you will provide exceptional maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory. Your primary objective is to continually build and increase business through great customer experiences and quality work.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Service customer-owned instruments with high craftsmanship
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested
- Complete warranty repair work
To be successful in this role, you should have a skilled understanding of repairing guitars and possess foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products. Additional characteristics include:
- Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles and provides an excellent customer experience
- Initiative: Able to identify opportunities and issues and follow through on work activities
- Selling: Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques
- Training: Able to effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so that they are retained
