We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at BlazerJobs in San Antonio, TX. This full-time, onsite position involves working with K-12 students to support their ability to participate fully in school activities through individualized therapeutic interventions.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive hourly and weekly pay, as well as a 401K Plan for long-term financial security and Comprehensive Medical Insurance for you and your dependents.
Job DescriptionThis role involves assessing and evaluating students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills, developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, and providing direct therapy services to students while documenting progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, documenting progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure therapy strategies are integrated into the classroom.
- Offer training and consultation to school personnel on implementing therapeutic techniques.
- Ensure compliance with state and school regulations.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Familiarity with K-12 student needs and school-based therapy services.
