Imaging Services and Operations Supervisor, Cancer Center

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Services and Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a key member of our imaging team, you will oversee the daily operations of our outpatient imaging clinic, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities- Directly supervise employees and daily operations in Imaging Services modalities.
- Collaborate with scheduling and physicians to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
- Develop and implement annual competencies to enhance staff education and professional development.
- Monitor and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring timely and confidential counseling as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality control initiatives, analyzing and reviewing equipment reports to facilitate repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, utilizing PACT standards to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
- Two years of college education or equivalent.
- Three years of experience as an Imaging Technologist.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Licensure by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification and licensure by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for specialties such as CT, MRI, and Radiography.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience with Enterprise software applications for radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving communication (PACS).
