Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator Manager 1 to join our team at Northrop Grumman's Defense Sector in Mesa, AZ. This role will provide leadership and support to a small team of contracts administrators, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of contract professionals, including training, mentoring, and directing daily activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure high levels of collaboration and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to minimize risk and maximize opportunities.
  • Manage and analyze data, maintain historical information, and engage in strategic priorities as needed.
  • Supervise and develop several Contract Order Administrator employees, including hiring, training, and assigning workload.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of professional Contract Administration Operations related experience, or 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or related discipline, or Master's degree with 6 years relevant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Strong proposal development skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated people leadership and/or supervisory/management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills that support accomplishment of discipline objectives to resolve complex problems and minimize risk to the Corporation.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Knowledge of Contract Management System (CMS) and Cost Point (CP).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $90,300 - $135,500, as well as a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
