About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in welding-related courses, promoting student engagement and success, and working collaboratively with colleagues to advance the college's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet industry standards and student learning objectives
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve instructional methods
- Recruit and advise students to ensure they have access to relevant programs and resources
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a post-secondary setting
- Strong technical skills and experience with welding equipment and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Industry certifications in welding and inspection
- Experience with distance learning platforms and technologies
