Job Summary

ProHealth Care is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Birthing Center team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate at the department level, responsible for day-to-day operations, and provide leadership in accordance with ProHealth Care's outlined behaviors to achieve service excellence, organizational goals, values, regulatory compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide support and feedback to the department Manager regarding recommendations for capital, operating, and staffing budgets, and make necessary decisions to adjust for variations in projected budget income caused by fluctuating volumes and other external forces.
  • With manager oversight, provide Human Resources leadership to direct reports through effective hiring, orientation, training, mentoring, and coaching, and ensure appropriate resources are provided to staff.
  • Develop a staffing plan that meets both customer expectations and financial constraints, and create an environment where Employee engagement feedback facilitates positive change.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Charge Nurse/Team Lead role, CNIII or within 12 months of hire
