Orthodontic Care Assistant

Position Summary:
The Orthodontic Assistant at Dr. Wax Orthodontics plays a vital role in delivering top-notch support to our orthodontic team while ensuring outstanding care for our patients. This position requires close collaboration with both the orthodontic staff and patients, maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong rapport with patients, providing exemplary customer service
- Inform patients about orthodontic care procedures and practices
- Assist in chairside patient management, including the placement and removal of orthodontic devices
- Conduct tasks such as taking X-rays, capturing images, and fabricating retainers
- Maintain precise patient documentation and notes for the orthodontist
- Ensure patient treatment areas are organized, sanitized, and equipped with necessary tools
- Follow instructions from orthodontists to further develop skills
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of orthodontic procedures and techniques
- Proactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication abilities
- Empathetic towards patients, their families, and colleagues

Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of pertinent experience
