Environmental Remediation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Engineer to join our team at Geosyntec Consultants. As a key member of our sediment and waterfront remediation practice, you will be responsible for applying engineering skills to projects involving investigations, design, and construction support for the remediation of sediment sites throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to address complex environmental problems
  • Lead field programs and design tasks
  • Plan and implement fieldwork, including sampling and remediation system operation and maintenance
  • Evaluate chemical data and contaminant fate and transport
  • Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, water resources, coastal, or environmental engineering, or a related field of study
  • At least 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to digest and summarize technical language from white papers, reports, or regulatory documents
  • Technical experience in engineering, geology, geotechnical, environmental, or related disciplines
