We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at an excellent healthcare facility in Yuma, AZ. The travel assignment entails preparing and administering small doses of radioactive drugs to patients, then use diagnostic imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications.
  • Operating diagnostic imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.
  • Monitoring patients' physical condition during procedures and providing images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Current CPR/ BLS certification.
  • 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years.
