**Job Description:**

  • As a Senior Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  • You will collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other educational staff to implement behavior support strategies and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure continuity of support and promote family involvement in behavior intervention strategies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of behavior goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis and intervention.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community stakeholders.
