About the Job:
Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bangor, Maine. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to create high-quality images or videos of patients' internal structures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ultrasound scans to capture clear and diagnostic-quality images and videos of organs, blood vessels, muscles, or fetuses (if performing obstetric ultrasounds).
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining each step and providing reassurance.
• Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or distress and adjust positioning or equipment settings as needed.
• Maintain clean and sterile environments, adhering to infection control standards.
• Analyze ultrasound images for clarity and completeness before submitting them to physicians or radiologists.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to make patients feel comfortable during procedures. You should also have knowledge of ultrasound technology, including RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect tax-free stipends and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
