CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.
Job Summary
The RN Clinical Coordinator will play a vital role in our Medical Surgical department, providing expert clinical care and leadership to our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical activities, authorizing work procedures, and assigning duties. Your strong clinical judgment and communication skills will ensure seamless care delivery to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and ensure high-quality care delivery to each patient.
- Act as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
- Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
- Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Act as a professional role model for all staff by demonstrating ethical/legal/professional nursing.
- Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Actively serves on unit as a registered nurse and may take patient assignments based on unit and patient needs and acuity.
- Being personally accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required, BSN preferred.
- Licensure: RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required, Nursing Specialty Certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Work Environment
The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends (7pm-7am). Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and healthcare services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
