Day Program Caregiver Opportunities

Cole Vocational Services, a leading organization in specialized healthcare, provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Carer in our Day Program, you will play a vital role in enabling them to live a full, more independent life.
Job Overview- We are seeking dedicated Carers to join our team in providing support and care to individuals in community settings.
- You will work closely with our clinical staff to develop and implement individualized plans, focusing on therapeutic and behavioral goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation and support out in the community, including outings, field trips, shopping, and creative activities, while working on developmental goals.
- Assist with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, medication administration (if needed), and personal care.
- Provide guidance on developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
- Support individuals in living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and/or bathing and toileting (as needed).
- Assist in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors, with training and coaching provided.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in human services preferred but not required.
- Valid California driver's license in good standing.
- Reliable vehicle with proof of valid registration and insurance.
- Successful clearance of background checks.
- Full-time positions with an excellent schedule, Monday-Friday daytime, with no weekends and major holidays off (with holiday pay).
