Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide immediate and skilled nursing care to patients in the emergency room, triaging and prioritizing care based on the severity of the patient's condition.
Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies, such as trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other critical conditions.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders, ensuring timely and accurate care.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive emergency care and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
Strong understanding of emergency nursing care, trauma management, and critical care interventions.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in performing advanced nursing procedures and responding to life-threatening emergencies.
Active [STATE] Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse or in a similar role.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred. Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems.
