Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Highmark Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and advocating on behalf of our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care

    • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential risks, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care, addressing the unique needs of each patient.
  • Advocate for Patients and Families
    • Empathize with patients and families, understanding their concerns, values, and preferences.
    • Facilitate open communication, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care.
    • Promote patient autonomy, respecting their rights and dignity throughout the healthcare journey.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Mentor and educate nursing staff, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of patient-centered care.
    • Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
    • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
