About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Gastrointestinal Pathologist to join our team at University Health Associates. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for practicing luminal GI, pancreas, and liver pathology, as well as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities
• Practicing GI pathology exclusively or in conjunction with other subspecialties of interest
• Active involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Additional responsibilities and leadership roles based on a candidate's interests, skills, and experience
Requirements
• MD, MD/PhD or DO degree
• Board certified in AP or AP/CP
• Successfully completed a fellowship in GI pathology or have substantial experience signing out complex GI/liver/pancreas/biliary cases
• Eligible to obtain a state medical license at the time of employment
About the Department
Our department is a rapidly growing and dynamic team of faculty in AP, CP, Translational Pathology, Anatomical Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences. We are committed to digital pathology and are supported by state-of-the-art ancillary testing. Faculty research activities are supported by the PALM Tissue Bank, Research Histology Lab, Brain Bank, and the Rapid Development Laboratory.
