Aircraft Electrician

Job Summary

M1 Support Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repairs on aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on aircraft, including troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical system malfunctions
• Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, circuits, and components
• Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues
• Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Avionics Electrician Mate (AE) A School or equivalent
• Two or more years' experience performing Aircraft Electrical maintenance
• Ability to qualify as E-2C AE Collateral Duty Inspector
• Ability to work flexible schedule as required
• Ability to climb ladders, raised platforms, and perform maintenance on top of and underneath aircraft
• Eligibility for a Common Access Card (CAC)

Working Conditions

The Aircraft Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required.
