Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Radiologic Technologist (DiRT) to join our Diagnostic Radiology Ultrasound team in Royal Oak, Michigan. As an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, utilizing your expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques and technology.

About the Role
  • Perform accurate and efficient ultrasound exams using state-of-the-art equipment and protocols.
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, educating patients on procedures and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized Diploma or Associate's Degree Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible, with certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
