Cloud Business Development Executive for US Army

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Business Development Executive to join our team and drive the growth of our cloud business within the US Army. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the US Army and Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and revenue within the US Army and Department of Defense
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the US Army and Department of Defense
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the US Army and Department of Defense
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver cloud solutions that meet the needs of the US Army and Department of Defense

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
