Davidson County Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our educational team. The successful candidate will provide critical support to students with communication disorders, working closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the services they need to succeed.

Essential Functions

  • Provide direct services to students with communication disorders, including assessments, therapy sessions, and consultation with teachers and other educators
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with state and federal requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality instructional programs that meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • NC licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
