About the Role

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Patient Experience Liaison to join our team. This is a per diem position, requiring flexibility and adaptability in scheduling.

Job Description

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling patient encounters and procedures, coordinating with departments and institutions
  • Answering phone calls, routing messages, and triaging urgent information or services
  • Greeting and directing patients, families, and visitors, maintaining efficient flow
  • Collaborating with referring providers and practices to resolve complex patient issues
  • Verifying, recording, and processing patient demographics, insurance, and referral information
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Superb customer service skills, attention to detail, and strong computing abilities
  • A minimum of five shifts within a six-week period, including weekend shifts and holiday requirements
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective oral and written communication skills
Benefits and Requirements
