Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our animal housing areas. You will be responsible for washing dishes, bowls, litter boxes, kennels, and cages, as well as changing and replacing soiled bedding and managing laundry tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for our animals by washing and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
  • Assist with checking in and out boarding patients, ensuring proper labeling and ID collars.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in animal housing, food preparation, and laundry areas.
  • Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Qualifications
  • Possess a passion for animals and their well-being.
  • Be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $13-$15 per hour.
  • Part-time schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
