Overview

We are a premier retirement community seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN/LVN to join our team. As a Wellness Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing, delivering, and coordinating resident care under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Job Description

As a Wellness Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine assessments of resident health status for both new and existing residents
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the Health and Wellness Director and other healthcare professionals
  • Providing hands-on care and specific nursing tasks as required
  • Supervising and training care staff to ensure high-quality services
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and medical personnel
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid, unencumbered nursing license (LPN/LVN)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior living (IL/AL/MC) preferred
  • Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's disease preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
