We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in skilled nursing facilities. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical services and quality initiatives for our facilities, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend and participate in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide guidance to facility staff
- Review and revise clinical guidelines as necessary
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Supervise facility clinical staff and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care
- High-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services
- Ability to diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Experience with electronic health records and medical tools
- Ability to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
