Senior Financial Analyst

Talladega College seeks a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.

1. Prepare and record assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by comparing and analyzing account information to ensure proper classifications.
2. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
3. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
4. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status in understandable terms.
5. Direct external audits to ensure compliance with institutional and external policies.
6. Assist with the preparation of tax returns, including the Form 990.
7. Assist with tax credit compliance reporting.
8. Ensure that audit reports are filed with external agencies in a timely manner.
