Instructional Designer for Environmental and Public Health Sciences

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join its Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences. This full-time position is responsible for providing instructional design support for current and new online courses to faculty, students, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to develop online and technology-facilitated courses, presenting programs and conducting faculty training as needed.
- Assist faculty in utilizing web-based resources, multimedia technologies, and instructional software and systems for online course development, working with internal and external business partners to ensure course success.
- Develop and support current and new online courses according to established procedures, ensuring instructional materials align with sound design principles and standards.
- Assess course effectiveness and revise in response to feedback, creating effective assessments that align with student learning objectives and course competencies.
- Contribute to ongoing research, evaluation, and design of online courses and programs, working as part of a team to manage online course and program development.
- Maintain a collaborative relationship and open communication with business partners, researching and evaluating new and emerging educational technologies to improve student learning within online courses.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Two years of experience in course building or course design.
