About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Network Architect to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge WAN/LAN networks, enterprise wireless solutions, and cloud administration infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement WAN/LAN network administration, enterprise wireless, cloud administration (Azure), SD WAN administration, and Cisco/Palo Alto firewall administration.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate improvements in tools and processes, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze network-related tickets, identify causes, and suggest solutions to reduce resolution time.
  • Maintain expertise on network routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and next-generation firewalls.
  • Develop recommendations for network infrastructure optimization based on analytics and performance metrics.
  • Manage equipment upgrades, hardware, and software installations.
  • Collaborate with level 1/2 resources to address network-related issues and provide support.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in WAN/LAN, wireless, and cloud administration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and next-generation firewalls.
  • Experience with cloud networks and/or security is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
