About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Surpass Behavioral Health. As a key member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mentorship, support, and hands-on training to onboarding Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Assess the skill level of newly hired Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians and provide individualized training to best prepare them for the RBT examination and/or placement with clients
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapeutic care to clients in a home, school, clinic, and/or community setting in order to implement behavioral treatment plans and instructional plans utilizing ABA principles as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Partner with the Behavior Analyst to maintain ongoing communication with parents/caregivers regarding the client's progress and plan of care
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician in a clinical setting
  • Works with integrity and adheres to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies
