Job Overview:

As a Sales Territory Manager at US Foods, you will play a critical role in fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving new business opportunities. This position requires a results-driven mentality and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any order process issues to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Communicate with clients to collect accounts receivable and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, competitors' products, and industry trends to make informed business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and cold call for new business.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities, with proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Occasional lifting and driving, frequent standing and walking.
