Exciting Opportunity for Histotech or Histology Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Histotech or Histology Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art Anatomic Pathology Laboratory located on Long Island. This laboratory is fully accredited by the State of New York, CAP, and Joint Commission.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate of Science Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Histology (or related field) and a New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Histotech. HT or HTL ASCP Certification is preferred but not required.
This facility offers a highly competitive hourly rate, ranging from $30 to $50 per hour, based on education, certifications, and years of experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform histological procedures and techniques
- Prepare and process tissue samples for examination
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments
- Maintain accurate records and reports
