We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Byron Family Dental Care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting dental health through preventive services and education, and working closely with our experienced dental team to deliver high-quality care.

As a Dental Hygienist at Byron Family Dental Care, you will be part of a close-knit team that prioritizes patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene exams and treatments, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
  • Provide personalized patient education on oral health, hygiene techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Dental Hygienist license in Georgia (and Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
