We are seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent to oversee the safe, reliable, and profitable operations of our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, leadership, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with INEOS Pigments Life Saving Rules and 20 Safety Principles.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the activities of the Operations team to meet production and quality targets.
• Oversee monitoring and troubleshooting process and equipment, and report process deviations, equipment failures, and hazards.
• Maintain and foster collaborative efforts with production, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and other technical resource teams.
• Set and meet budget requirements by efficiently managing resources, inventories, and raw materials.
• Report on operational performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and decision-making to ensure employees understand company goals and have the knowledge and resources needed to accomplish them.
• Manage personnel, including performance, compensation, succession planning, and discipline.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with extensive relative experience.
• A Bachelor's of Science degree is preferred.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a supervisor/manager, with highly developed knowledge of operations.
• Leadership/management skills.
• Working knowledge of chemical/industrial equipment function, design, and regulatory requirements and Process Safety Management.
• Understanding of Chemistry and Physics.
• ISO System and procedures knowledge.
• Functionality with various computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Six Sigma training a plus.
