At CrossMed Allied, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC.
Job SummaryThis position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of internal body structures
- Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during scans, reporting any concerns to radiologists or other staff members
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiologic technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and lift equipment (50-100 lbs)
The estimated salary for this position is $2017.80 - $2120.40 per week, depending on the number of hours worked. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
