About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Royalties Manager to join our US-based team. This individual will be responsible for managing workflows, interpreting reporting requirements, executing operational tasks, and running regular reports for reconciliation purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop direct reports in terms of performance and career progression.
  • Support the team in executing and documenting process changes for efficient royalty data processing into Kobalt's platform.
  • Ensure best practices are developed, documented, and maintained for colleagues to follow process steps and solve exceptions.
  • Assist in evaluating proposed automated processes and their success, assessing effort vs output for optimal automation levels.
  • Interpret and communicate information received from stakeholders regarding changes to incoming royalty reporting or deal structures, ensuring processing methods are updated accordingly.
  • Maintain operational awareness of key royalty distributions, support team to solve issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain processes tracking incoming payments for completeness of collections.
  • Oversee the quarterly success rate of royalty processing.
