Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quality and Patient Safety Director to oversee aspects of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs across our complex organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive facility-wide standardization in targeted process improvement initiatives and evaluate success through pre-established criteria and measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to drive care excellence across a complex organization, leading in strategy development for performance improvement through system thinking and safety science application across multiple service lines and care settings.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and objectives, reviewing and updating the Quality Improvement Plan regularly.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership in establishment of operational performance measurements and targets, as well as the monitoring of trends in key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Lead and oversee the quality department with responsibility for care excellence, disease-specific care, risk management, patient safety, and other aspects of performance improvement across the facility, effectively managing members of the quality department team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field.
  • 3+ years data analysis experience in a healthcare setting.
  • 4+ years experience in healthcare quality/risk management with demonstrated leadership.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan options, paid time off, and education assistance programs.
