About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, modeling our company values, and driving business growth.
Job Summary
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, as well as maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Provide excellent patient care, develop and implement patient care programs, and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement processes to ensure high-quality patient care, accuracy, and efficiency in the pharmacy.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and colleagues, and respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Personnel Management: Lead, motivate, and develop your team members to achieve their full potential, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor expiration dates, and ensure that all necessary supplies are available to support pharmacy operations.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
Salary Range:$90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
