Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for prescribing nursing care, delegating tasks to other healthcare professionals, and coordinating the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This will involve working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare teams to provide optimal quality care.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation, including age and population-specific skills for the area of practice
  • Full access to patient health information
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time. The successful candidate must also be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
