Job Title: Senior Sales Business Development Executive

As a Senior Sales Business Development Executive at DPDHL, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our customers and our business units. Using a consultative selling strategy, you will understand the customers' business needs, including their current situation and future direction, and propose solutions that exceed their expectations.

You will be responsible for acquiring new business and retaining existing customers, aligning with DHL's strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory. Your duties will include:

  • Winning, retaining, and developing medium-sized business customers through sales activities
  • Maximizing sales growth from existing customers through new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies
  • Building rapport and trust with customers by being informed about their business and market
  • Recommending solutions based on customer needs using industry knowledge
  • Engaging in customer workshops to share information on import brokerage compliance regulations, new product offerings, and other training
  • Collaborating with sales channels, product teams, and local station management to support customer retention

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of field sales experience in international freight forwarding
  • Experience with logistics processes, systems, and solutions
  • Solid experience using a CRM system and MS Office products
  • Knowledge of international commercial transportation (air and ocean freight required)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outgoing, upbeat, and resourceful personality
