Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This role is responsible for maintaining the physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, as well as performing repairs and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment
  • Identify and repair maintenance issues with minimal supervision
  • Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts using approved communication programs
  • Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs and systems
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
