The position of Senior Custom Home Building Project Manager is a vital role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all site subcontractors and ensuring seamless communication with the Project Manager and relevant parties to guarantee timely, budget-friendly, and on-schedule project completion.

Job Description

This esteemed position comes with a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to the attractive compensation package, the successful candidate can expect:

As a Senior Custom Home Building Project Manager, you will be entrusted with:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Planning, scheduling, and implementing quality-built homes from development through final construction, achieving timely and economical results.
  2. Involvement in managerial oversight of homes, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
  3. Selecting, coordinating, overseeing, and managing personnel, materials, budgets, schedules, and contracts.
  4. Directly monitoring the progress of various projects and maintaining safe, clean, and compliant job sites.
  5. Understanding contracts, plans, construction methods, and regulations.
  6. Tracking and controlling construction costs against the budget to avoid overruns.
  7. Preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  8. Locating, negotiating pricing, obtaining insurance information, and scope of work for various labor needs.
  9. Scheduling and managing subcontractors and their relationships to build homes on schedule and close on time.
  10. Completing homes and all customer walk-through items prior to closing.
  11. Conducting Home Buyer Meetings with customers.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in custom home building.
  • Experience dealing with architects and owners.
  • Preferably, experience in both ground-up and renovation work, as well as projects up to $10M.
