Job Overview

Morrison Healthcare, a leading national food and nutrition services company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support numerous HR functions. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring all Company HR related policies are applied consistently.

About the Role

This Senior HR Manager position requires strong analytical and communication skills to effectively interact with senior management and various support departments. Your knowledge of employee relations and ability to coach associates and management through complex issues will be invaluable in supporting HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Compliance

Ensure consistent application of Company HR-related policies across all departments.

Employee Coaching and Guidance

Provide objective coaching and guidance to associates and management on complex issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations.

Recruitment and Onboarding

Oversee MyOpportunity for hourly recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.

Associate Recognition Programs

Maintain and coordinate associate recognition programs to boost morale and engagement.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regularly review HR activity reports, and provide insights to drive business decisions.

Training and Development

Attend department manager meetings, conduct classroom training, and implement HR initiatives to enhance organizational performance.

Status Changes and Pay Equity

Review requests for pay increases or status changes to ensure internal equity and consistency, processing status change forms accordingly.

Diversity and Inclusion

Act as the diversity champion, leading tasks and corporate diversity activities, including diversity recruiting, retention, and promotion goals.

Personal Development Plans

Assist in creating Personal Development Plans for associates to foster growth and development.

Annual Performance Appraisal

Participate in the Annual Performance Appraisal process to evaluate associate performance and drive business outcomes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred.
  • Three plus years human resources generalist experience required; management experience a plus.
  • HR experience at a large, multi-unit organization required.
  • Previous experience as part of a centralized HR environment, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred.
  • Content-knowledge regarding employment law, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Training certification a plus (i.e., Zenger-Miller, Stephen Covey, etc.).
