Job Summary

The Feed Hauler - Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks and feed delivery to various farm locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate Feed Haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Perform equipment inspections according to company guidelines and report any issues to the supervisor.
3. Load the truck to ensure the quality and integrity of the feed.
4. Obtain representative samples of feed delivered to each grower.
5. Unload feed into the proper bins at the grower location, maintaining integrity.
6. Communicate with associates, maintenance personnel, and growers regarding relevant information such as tank levels and conditions.
7. Operate and maintain equipment safely, keeping the truck and work areas neat and clean.
8. Pick up leftover feed from grower barns as directed.
9. Clean Pellet Mill Particle Separators on a weekly basis.
10. Maintain assigned areas clean, following the housekeeping schedule.
11. Work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
12. Assist with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• A valid Class A Driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to Company Policy 622.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work under dusty adverse conditions.
• Manual CMV operating skills.
