We are seeking a skilled Coding Specialist Medical Records Coding Expert to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign accurate I-10 and CPT codes to inpatient medical records using the 3M encoder system, ensuring adherence to quality and quantity standards.
  • Code clinic, emergency room, and outpatient records with precision, meeting weekly coding deadlines and achieving a high accuracy rate.
  • Collaborate with a team environment to achieve coding goals and deadlines, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Research newly identified diagnoses and procedures, applying knowledge to improve coding accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills, identifying process problems in daily workflow and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
